I wanted to take a moment to give you the inside look to me. Since I capture you and want to learn about you to serve you best. I thought this would be a great way to let you learn about me too.
So lets take it back to a long long time ago (ok maybe not that long ago) to when I started this photography journey. I was my high school (Franklin Community High School) Newspaper photographer. It was so much fun (and yes there may have been a dark room)! But I took a break from photography till I had kids. Then I started capturing them and the love of it came right back to me. But, when I started doing Senior Sessions it became clear to me this was what I should be doing. I love the fashion, the locations, the fun, silly, and all around great time these sessions can be. I love that I get to capture a huge moment in these young adults life.
So let's get personal. . . . I am a huge family person! I come from a large blended family. As far as my little family, I meet my husband in middle school. We were in the same youth group and even graduated together but never really talked. Then one day after college we meet up and that was it. We were married less than a year later. And after 18 years of marriage and 2 amazing kids, I can truly say I am one lucky woman. We have also got to include 2 more wonderful kids into our lives and our homes by being host parents! If you want to enrich your life, I highly recommend hosting a foreign exchange student. We have been lucky to host a girl from Belgium (who we are all traveling this summer to see) and this year a boy from Spain! BUT, the real leader of our family is our dog Si! He truly runs our home and we wouldn't have it any other way.
As a family we love to travel! We have been traveling the world with our kids since they were little. We have been to Italy, Egypt, Aruba, St. Martin, France, Germany, England, Belgium, Netherlands, Ukraine, Bermuda, Jamaica,
Cayman Islands, Honduras, Belize, Dominican Republic, Bahamas, Anguilla, Barbados, St. Barth, Cozumel, Canada, Mexico, and much of the United States. We are planning to add a lot to that this year with our family trip to Europe.
So I have a little quirky side to me too. I am a HUGE Vampire Diaries! So much so I have been on set and met almost the entire cast! In fact we made our girl trips around it for years going down to Georgia and have made some of the most amazing friends from around the world that I still stay in contact with them today. It has given me some amazing memories with these people! BUT, I am also a huge Gilmore Girls fan too (just ask to see my tattoo)! My bestie and me went to a festival for the first time in 2019 to see a lot of the cast from Gilmore Girls in Canada. It was so much fun and was my first time getting to visit Canada and loved it!
Now that you have gotten to know me a little better, I am so excited to interact with you guys and can't wait to capture some amazing and unforgettable moments for you!
